Come face to face with Sun Wukong, the legendary Monkey King from Chinese myth, and play for a chance at huge jackpots at 18JL.
At 18JL, Monkey King has quickly become one of the most talked-about slots among Filipino players. The whole game is built around Sun Wukong, the Monkey King from Chinese legend, so every spin feels like a trip through an enchanted corner of ancient China. The graphics are detailed and the audio pulls you straight into the action, giving the game an atmosphere that is hard to miss when you browse the 18JL game lobby.
Monkey King at 18JL uses a five-reel, three-row layout with 25 paylines, which gives you a lot of room to build winning combinations. What draws many players in is the high Return to Player (RTP) rate, which is above 96.5%, meaning the game is designed to offer a solid long-term return. Wilds, Scatters, and the special bonus features also add another layer of excitement and can seriously increase your payouts.
Standout Features of Monkey King at 18JL
A lot of the excitement around Monkey King on 18JL comes from its packed feature set. The Wild symbol is represented by the Monkey King himself, and it can replace other symbols to help you finish a winning line. The Scatter, on the other hand, is the magic staff, and once three or more appear anywhere on the reels, the free spins bonus round is triggered.
Free Spins Bonus
Land three or more Scatters and you'll trigger 15 free spins. During those free spins, every win is multiplied by 3, so even a modest hit can feel like a nice surprise. This is one of the most loved features among 18JL slot players, and it's easy to see why.
Multiplier Feature
Inside the bonus round, the multiplier can go from 2x all the way up to 10x. That kind of boost can turn a regular win into a much bigger one, which is why so many 18JL players enjoy this part of the game. Just remember to play at your own pace, stay within your budget, and only play if you are 21 or older.
How to Play Monkey King at 18JL
Playing Monkey King on 18JL is quick and straightforward. Start by logging into your 18JL account on the site; if you don’t have one yet, you can finish registration in just a few minutes using the on-screen steps. Once you’re in, head over to the Slots area and type “Monkey King” in the search box. Select the game from the results and wait for it to load—it usually takes only a few seconds before the reels show up.
Before the reels start moving, set your bet size. On 18JL’s Monkey King, the minimum bet is just ₱10 and the maximum can go as high as ₱10,000, so you can adjust based on your bankroll. Pick a comfortable amount, then hit the spin button and watch the reels turn. A win happens when three or more matching symbols land on an active payline—the more matches, the bigger the payout.
Monkey King Game Symbols and Payouts
| Symbol | Description | Payout (Five of a Kind) |

| Magic Staff (Scatter) | Triggers Free Spins | 100x |
| Golden Crown | High Value Symbol | 500x |
| Peach Fruit | Medium Value Symbol | 250x |
| Chinese Coin | Low-value symbol | 100x |
Each icon in Monkey King carries its own value, and the richest of them all is Monkey King himself, which also acts as the wild. Land five wilds on a payline and you’re looking at a 5,000x payout of your original bet—that kind of prize can be a real game-changer for anyone playing at 18JL. The scatter symbol works a bit differently: get at least three anywhere on the reels and you’ll unlock the free spins bonus round.
18JL Monkey King Bonus Round
The bonus round is easily the most exciting part of Monkey King. Land three or more scatter symbols and you’ll step straight into the free spins bonus. During this round at 18JL, you get 15 free spins, and every win you make is automatically multiplied by three. In plain terms: if a regular spin would have won you ₱100, the same line in the bonus round pays ₱300. It’s the kind of feature that makes every spin feel electric—just remember to play responsibly and keep the fun in control.
The bonus round is where the action really heats up in Monkey King. Every time another scatter symbol lands on the reels, you unlock extra free spins on top of what you already have. Regular 18JL players often say their biggest wins in this slot tend to happen right inside the bonus stage. On top of that, a multiplier feature is active during this phase, which can boost your winnings even further. A few lucky players have shared stories of walking away from the Monkey King bonus round with payouts that truly changed their day. Of course, slot results are always based on chance, and every spin is a fresh start.
Monkey King Playing Strategy and Tips
18JL Editorial Team suggests:
- Before you put down real money, take time to learn how the game moves. 18JL offers a demo version for every slot in its library, including the Monkey King slot, so you can study the paytable, test different bet sizes, and see how the bonus triggers work without touching your balance. It is the smartest way to practice and build confidence before you play for keeps.
- Set a clear budget before your first spin and treat it as entertainment money. Bet only what you are comfortable with, and never push beyond your limits just to chase a win. This habit keeps the game fun and stress-free. Remember that responsible play matters at 18JL, and only players aged 21 and above should join the fun.
- If you plan to play for a longer stretch, the autoplay feature makes things easy. You simply choose how many spins you want the game to run, and it moves through them while you relax and watch. 18JL’s autoplay option is clean and convenient, and it gives you a simple way to control your session from start to finish.
- Patience is key when you are playing a slot like Monkey King. The bonus round is where the biggest winning potential sits, so do not get disappointed during the base game. Keep your bet steady, let the feature trigger in its own time, and let the bonus spins do the heavy lifting. For many players, that waiting game is part of the excitement.
- Make sure all the paylines are switched on before every spin. Locking in every available line means you will never miss out on a possible winning combination, and that is one of the easiest ways to get the most out of the Monkey King slot. The slightly higher bet is usually worth it once the reels line up in your favor.
- Before you make a deposit, check the Promotions page at 18JL to see what bonuses are live. Daily bonuses and rotating promos give your bankroll a nice lift, and you can use those extra credits to play the Monkey King slot for a longer session. New players also get ₱22 simply for registering and ₱188 after downloading the 18JL app, but each offer comes with its own terms and conditions, so always read the details carefully.
A proven approach used by experienced players is to start with medium-sized bets and then slowly increase the wager after landing a few wins. On 18JL, this style of play helps keep your bankroll balanced while still giving you a real shot at a big payout. Keep in mind that slots are still games of luck, so a good strategy only helps you manage your money and your time better—it does not guarantee results.
